IN SITU

   The environmental decontamination works in the place of accidental spillages of oil and oil products are carried out from April to September. From November to March the contaminated soil is removed by transporting it from the spillage place or isolating there.



Decontamination of environment polluted by oil is made according LAND9-2009 requirements:

  • Investigation of contaminated site;
  • A laboratory analysis of the contaminated soil or water is carried out;
  • The site of contamination is cleaned using mechanical means and sorbents;
  • The preparation “Degradoilas” is made and prepared for use;
  • The contaminated territory is sprayed with prepared solution;
  • The process of the oil pollutants degradation is supervised and controlled – the soil is moistened and mellowed.

   The cleaning period of the contaminated site depends on the nature of contaminants and the other conditions. This period may be last from 20 days to 18 months. The contaminated environment is cleaned up using self-propelling machinery with tanks pumps and spraying equipment.
