JSC “Biocentras“ researches and produces immobilized lipases – ferment catalyst for grease separation or grease acid synthesis in waterless or having very little water environment.
Lipases can esterify poli and monohydroxylic alcohols, grease acids also medical substances with carboxylic and hydroxyl groups. Some medical substances become more resistant to ferments impact from human organism and slower metabolized after esterification. That is one of methods to prolong the medicine.
Currently JSC “Biocentras“ researches possibilities for esterification of omega-grease acids, various sugars and some vitamins. These compounds may be used to regulate the fats and carbohydrates disturbances in the human organism.
