AMSIS

AMSIS is a complex intelligence system for prevention of ecological emergencies. AMSIS is developed for Republic of Lithuania and includes:

• Transmission of operative reliable information from place of accident to the Management and Control Centre;
• Taking the decision for the subsequent actions using base information (accident's scale, possible consequences) and the transmission of operative information to the appropriate authorities;
• Choosing the accident liquidation program using intelligent system and development of accident liquidation scenario;
• Computing the accident liquidation information, control of actions, record of financial costs, expenses and losses.

   AMSIS is created on the basis of liquidation of oil accidents but this complex system is applied for control and management of different types of accidents (industrial accidents, floods, fires).
